Description:

Presidential Honor scholarships are awarded to those individuals who have strong academic potential as demonstrated by their high school performance. Minimum  requirements are:

* a high school GPA of 3.85 or
* ACT, SAT, GED scores or college CGPA indicating strong academic ability

Presidential Honor Scholarships of up to $2000 per academic year are awarded to students upon entering the University  and may be renewed each academic year for up to four (4) academic years provided the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 CGPA.

Scholarships Available to Texas A&M at Commerce University Printing Students
  • The Hunter/Swanson Scholarship (Sponsored by the Print Production Association of Dallas/Fort Worth) Total possible value of $8,000 over 4 years when combined with a Sam Rayburn/William Mayo Housing Scholarship.
  • The Beverly and Staley McBrayer Scholarship. Total possible value $2,000 for the freshman year when combined with a Sam Rayburn/William Mayo Housing Scholarship.

Requirements:

High School GPA 3.25, ACT score of 28 or SAT score of 1270. Letters of recommendation, interview with scholarship awards committee and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25.

  • Carl and Frances Hyatt Scholarship. Total possible value of $2,000 for the freshman year when combined with a Sam Rayburn/William Mayo Housing Scholarship
  • Larry and Charlotte Franklin Scholarship. Total possible value of $2,000 for the freshman year when combined with a Sam Rayburn/William Mayo Housing Scholarship
