Technology Education Graduate Degree Programs and Options
The Technology Education program began offering graduate degrees in 1972. Since then, it has become recognized as one of the premiere Technology Education graduate programs in the US (a 1991 study conducted at Utah State University ranked Virginia Tech’s Technology Education doctoral program #1 in the US).

In late 2005, the Technology Education Program began to offer new Integrative STEM Education graduate degree options described below. These new Integrative STEM Education graduate certificate and degree options prepare a new generation of leaders and scholars from (and for) each of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education disciplines. The focus is on the Integrative STEM teaching, research, and leadership practices that will undoubtedly be a hallmark of STEM education in the 21st century.
