 This course deals with problem solving and the design and application of mechanisms. Through lecture and lab experiences, students will:
- Extend technical competence and skills
- Extend understanding of newer technologies pertinent to technology education
- Develop competence in the repair and maintenance of machine tools and the management of a general laboratory
- Develop the awareness of and competence in the use of computer graphic simulation software used in modular technology education programs.
Students have experience through lecture and laboratory activities, which include:

- Flight simulator
- Tracon Air Traffic Control Simulation
- 3D Home Architect
- Incredible Machine
- Machine tool maintenance
- Mechanism problem solving project
- Rhino Robot project
- Spreadsheet application project
