This course introduces students to the history and development, aims and objectives, and contemporary nature of technology education; develops understanding of selection and organization of subject matter, preparation of resource units, curriculum guides, courses of study, and instructional materials.
- As a result of participation in this class, students will:

 Develop a plan for a modern technology education facility.
- Develop aims, goals and objectives for a year-long technology education course.
- Develop objectives, teaching sequence and content outline for a three-week unit of study.
- Prepare instructional materials to support the teaching of the three-week unit of study.
- Consider the identification and inclusion of students with diverse learning needs in technoloigy education.
